The Ichiban Experience


Your dining experience at Ichiban will begin with a walk over our lantern lit bridge and under our torii to your hibachi table. You will then be greeted by a kimono-clad waitress who will present you with a steaming hot oshibori so that you can cleanse your hands in a customary Japanese fashion. Order a traditional Japanese hot or cold sake, or consider trying our Japanese Long Island Ice Tea! You will be served Miso Soup, a soy based broth with tofu and green onion, and Sunomono Salad, marinated cucumbers crowned with crab meat.

Once your master chef arrives at your table, let the entertainment begin! Your chef will prepare your choice of appetizer – sautéed shrimp or sautéed calamari. Watch as our skilled chefs perform knife flashing feats, light fires, and throw food through the air! Your dinner choices include Kobe beef, filet mignon, shrimp, scallops, lobster, tuna, salmon, teriyaki chicken and more. Don’t forget to try our highly acclaimed fried rice – you will be dazzled by how our chefs can make it fly!

If you have any room left after consuming our sumptuous entrees, you will be served your choice of ice cream, included with your meal. If you are in a celebratory mood, you may consider ordering our house specialty Tempura Fried Ice Cream or Fried Banana Tempura Ice Cream!
